FAQs

1. What types of early childhood programs do you support?

We provide substitute staff for a variety of programs, including child care centers, preschools, Head Start and Early Head Start programs, Great Start Readiness Programs (GSRP), and faith-based or private early learning centers.

2. Are your substitutes qualified?
Yes. All our substitute staff meet or exceed Michigan Child Care Licensing requirements. They undergo comprehensive background checks, CPR/First Aid certification (when required), and complete annual training in child development, health and safety, and classroom best practices.

3. How quickly can I get a substitute?
We offer same-day and emergency coverage when available, as well as scheduled staffing for vacations, leaves of absence, or long-term needs. We recommend requesting as early as possible for best availability.

4. Can I request the same substitute for multiple days?
Absolutely. If you find a substitute who’s a great fit for your center, we’ll do our best to ensure continuity by reassigning that staff member when possible.

5. Do your substitutes follow our classroom routines and curriculum?
Yes. Our substitutes are trained to quickly adapt to your center’s structure and culture. We ask that you provide a quick orientation and daily schedule. Some substitutes also have experience with HighScope, Creative Curriculum, Montessori, and other ECE frameworks.

6. What areas in Michigan do you serve?
We serve early childhood programs throughout the entire state of Michigan.

7. How is billing handled?
We offer competitive hourly and daily rates with flexible billing options. Custom contracts are available for frequent or long-term partnerships. Contact us to request a quote.

8. Are your services eligible for subsidy reimbursement or grant coverage?
In some cases, yes. We can work with centers receiving state or federal funding (e.g., CCDF, GSRP, Head Start) to ensure compliance and explore funding eligibility.

9. Do you provide substitutes for infant and toddler classrooms?
Yes. We have substitute staff trained and experienced in working with infants (0–12 months) and toddlers (12–36 months), including diapering, bottle feeding, and age-appropriate developmental support.
